Salary: $55-65k range plus commission

Our client in Lake county is searching for a  customer-focused Licensed Insurance Agent to join their team. . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, identifying insurance needs, and offering client specific insurance and financial service products. This role requires an active Ohio Property & Casualty license (Life & Health preferred). #2931PR

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Acquisition

• Promote and sell insurance products including auto, home, life, health, and financial services.
• Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and community engagement.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.

Client Service & Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and recommending suitable solutions.
• Provide responsive customer support for billing, coverage questions, policy changes, and claims assistance.
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure customers have adequate coverage.

Operational & Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using client specific  systems.
• Follow all State Farm and Ohio Department of Insurance compliance and licensing standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License (required).
• Ohio Life & Health License (preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Prior sales or customer service experience (insurance experience a plus).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages).
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
