Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–3:00 AM

Position Summary

The Machine Operator will work alongside a production team to set up and run equipment that manufactures carboard products. This role is responsible for meeting production requirements while maintaining quality, minimizing waste, and ensuring the equipment runs efficiently. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and may also receive daily direction from the area’s Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and adjust machine settings according to job specifications and work orders.

• Operate production machinery to create products that meet customer requirements.

• Monitor gauges, controls, and machine performance to ensure consistent quality and safe operation.

• Quickly troubleshoot and respond to any equipment issues or irregularities.

• Perform routine quality checks on finished product using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.

• Accurately complete production paperwork, including records of downtime, waste, and machine performance.

• Document and report any product or process-related issues.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation following 6S or similar housekeeping standards.

• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 6–12 months of machine operation or relevant industrial experience. Familiarity with small hand tools and basic machine controls is helpful.
