Salary: $17.00 per hour

Express Seeks a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician for a Senior Residential Care Home.

 

Schedule:  Monday – Friday - 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Responsibilities

• Make minor adjustments to doors, windows, closures, and locks.
• Participates in grounds work around the facility as needed.
• Cleaning apartment fixtures and carpets
• Painting of apartment rooms
• Assisting with other maintenance duties as assigned
• Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical and Carpentry 

Qualifications

• Must have a clean background and pass a drug screen.
• 1+ years of experience in residential maintenance or equivalent i.e., handyman
• Participates in grounds work around the facility as needed.
• Must have a good work ethic and positive attitude
• Must have experience cleaning apartments (Fixtures, carpets, etc.)
• Must have experience in residential painting
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must know how to use hand tools
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Must be able to stand, bend, and squat during an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have the temperament to work with and around the elderly
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must always present yourself professionally
