The Warehouse Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. This role requires hands-on experience with forklifts, downstocking, and preparing bills of lading, along with strong organizational and communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move, load, and unload materials.
• Perform downstocking to replenish shelves and maintain product availability.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and bills of lading.
• Prepare and process bills of lading and other shipping documentation accurately.
• Organize and stage outgoing shipments to meet delivery schedules.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
• Resolve discrepancies in inventory records and communicate issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of warehouse or inventory control experience preferred.
• Proficiency in forklift operation (certification strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and documentation, including bills of lading.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and documentation.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

This position is based in a warehouse setting, requiring physical activity, equipment operation, and frequent interaction with team members. Safety and accuracy are top priorities in this role.
