Construction/Masonry Helper – $20 - $25 /hour

Hours: 6:30AM – 3:30PM + OT
Location: Cypress, CA 

Summary

The Masonry Helper will assist the construction teams in the installation, repair, and maintenance of structures related to heating and processing equipment facilities. This role supports the safe and efficient completion of projects by preparing materials, handling tools, and performing basic construction tasks under supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist masons in mixing, cutting, and preparing mortar, concrete, and other materials

·         Transport bricks, blocks, stone, and other supplies to work areas.

·         Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

·         Support installation and repair of masonry structures around heating and processing equipment.

·         Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.

·         Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and site cleanup.

·         Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely project completion.

 

Qualifications:

·         At least 1 year of experience in general construction or related work

·         Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks while standing for extended periods

·         Operate tools and equipment such as bridge saws, mixers, jackhammers, power tools, and tape measures (training provided)

·         Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable transportation

·         Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards.
