SHOP HELPER
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday) Pay: $18.00/hr
Position Overview We are seeking a reliable Shop Helper to support daily production and facility operations. This role includes general labor, basic shop tasks, and assisting technicians as needed.
Responsibilities
Assist with basic shop duties and daily workflow
Keep work areas clean and organized
Support machine operators and technicians
Perform material handling and simple tasks as directed
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Competently operate key shop machinery, including iron worker, bandsaw, and drill press—this is a core function of the role
Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail
Dependable with good attendance
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Basic knowledge of prints/blueprints
