Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for Leasing Agent openings in Forest Lake, MN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and at least two years of leasing experience. Experience with Yardi property management software is highly preferred.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide property tours.
• Explain lease terms, rental rates, and community policies to applicants.
• Process applications, verify qualifications, and prepare lease agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity and resident information.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Assist with marketing efforts, including posting vacancies online and updating listings.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Collect deposits and ensure proper documentation for move-ins and move-outs.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for unit readiness and repairs.
• Utilize property management software (Yardi preferred) for data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of apartment leasing experience.
• Experience with Yardi software strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
