Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift (Flexible: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

 

Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established local manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Order Entry Specialist to join their team. This role supports daily purchasing and order management functions and is essential to maintaining accurate data flow between customers, internal departments, and external vendors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, enter, and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Place orders with external vendors and ensure order confirmations are received and documented.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate data within internal systems.
• Communicate professionally with vendors to obtain information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth order flow.
• Collaborate with internal departments as needed to support production and scheduling needs.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for reporting and data management.
• Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in order entry, purchasing, or a related administrative role.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs required).
• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with external vendors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.
