What to Expect:

• Realistic and attainable performance bonuses 
• Supportive and collaborative environment at a well-established, locally owned full-service accounting firm
• Busy Season: 45-55 hours/week (no mandatory Saturdays)
• Off-season: 35-40 hours/week
• Half-day Friday (May-December)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to optimize their tax positions.
• Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated on tax law changes.
• Assist clients with IRS audits and inquiries, ensuring compliance and resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax accounting or tax consulting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with UltraTax, Accounting CS, QuickBooks Online/Desktop
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
