Machine & Facility Maintenance Technician

About the Role:
We’re seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join our team and keep our facility and machinery running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s versatile, resourceful, and eager to grow into a machine setup/operation trainer.

Key Responsibilities:
General Repairs & Maintenance

• Handle a wide range of machine and facility repairs
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using hand/power tools and measuring equipment

Facility Upkeep & Support

• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the plant and general manager
• Support construction-related tasks and minor electrical repairs
• Help maintain facility organization and cleanliness

⚙️ Machine Operation & Setup

• Learn full setup, operation, and maintenance of all machines
• Transition into a machine setup/operation trainer role

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure facility and equipment meet cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards
• Follow safety protocols when operating forklifts, saws, and specialized tools

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•  High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of versatile experience in machine/facility maintenance
• Excellent proficiency with hand and power tools, tape measures, forklifts, and electrical repair instruments
• Specialized training or certifications are a strong plus (Controls-PLC & Industrial PC)
• Hardwire/relay logic
• High and low Voltage 
• Instrumentation 
• Motor Drives 
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•  Organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Physically able to lift heavy items, walk large facilities, and bend/stoop/crouch when needed
