Assembly Job Summary: A fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking an Assembly person on 1st shift. This position will require assembling components for transportation seating. Candidates need to be very self-directed and have high attention to detail and quality.
Assembly Requirements:
- Assembly of seating to the customers requirements
- Working with hand tools, power tools, clamps, wrenches, drill press…
- Read, comprehend and follow instructions and procedures
- Verify materials and equipment needed
- Taking measurements to ensure perfect fit
- Align materials and put together parts to build more complex units
- Communicating product issues to the team lead or supervisor
- Promoting a safe and clean work environment
- Willing to assist with other tasks and duties as required
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift 6:00am-2:20pm OT - 5:00am-2:20pm working as late as 5:50pm
- $21.63/HR
Assembly Qualifications:
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, tape measures
- Ability to work with variety of tools including power tools, clamps, battery powered drills, impact wrenches, drill press…
- Able to do simple tooling set up
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Able to work with fiberglass
- Able to twist, bend, stop as needed and stand for the entire shift
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- High school diploma or GED
