Job Summary

We are seeking an Automation Technician / Machine Operator to support the manufacturing of post‑surgical garments by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated production systems. This full‑time role follows a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule (days or nights) and offers competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate enjoys hands‑on technical work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment.

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sun/Mon/Tue + every other Wed)

• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Thu/Fri/Sat + every other Wed)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain automated production machinery

• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime

• Perform equipment setups, adjustments, and commissioning

• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs

• Work with sensors, wiring, valves, actuators, and control components

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and machine documentation

• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams

• Maintain accurate logs of repairs, machine performance, and maintenance activities

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with machinery, automation, or industrial equipment

• Knowledge of pneumatics and basic electrical principles

• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Experience commissioning or setting up automated equipment is a plus

• Understanding of industrial safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to PLCs, control systems, or robotics

• Background in automation, machine operation, or manufacturing

• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes
