Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Server to provide exceptional service at a special non-profit event scheduled for one day on December 13th. The ideal candidate will bring experience in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout the event
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation aligns with event standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, demonstrating strong cash handling skills
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas, adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with setting up tables, serving courses, and bussing tables as needed
• Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience and address any special requests or concerns
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the event from start to finish

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or hospitality settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during a fast-paced event setting
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with upselling techniques and sales within the food industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
• Must be available on December 13th for the duration of the event
• Prior experience in nightlife or nightclub serving is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
