Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a reputable company in Marysville, WA. This is a full-time position with ample opportunities for overtime!

Second Shift Available: 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday - Friday

Pay: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure forklifts are safe for operation.
• Check and maintain fluid levels (oil, water, and fuel) before operating the lift.
• Ensure the availability of empty pallets for packaging lines and maintain pallet inventory.
• Remove palletized bags from production lines and place them on the stretch-wrapper.
• Operate the stretch-wrapper and change stretch film as needed.
• Store palletized bags in inventory, ensuring proper placement without damaging other inventory.
• Maintain plant cleanliness by restacking, picking up trash and debris, and washing equipment.
• Communicate any changes to Bills of Lading to the Dispatcher or office personnel.
• Conduct physical inventory counts of finished goods as required.
• Ensure safe operation of the forklift and maintain fluid levels.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in driving a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb on and off required equipment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to read and write English and/or follow instructions.
• Willingness to work in a dusty environment and in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rainy).
• Availability for mandatory overtime: 60-70 hour work weeks during peak season, including weekends and holidays.
• Successful candidates will be asked to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
