Office Coordinator / Administrative Assistant – Plano, TX (Part-Time, In-Office)

Location: Plano, Texas

Schedule: Tuesday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM – like to cap at 10 hrs a week, 5 hrs onsite each day. (core hours)

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

 

We’re looking for a proactive Office Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to provide in-office support three days per week. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping an office running smoothly, thrives on organization, and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk operations: greet visitors, manage package deliveries, and assist guests.

  • Coordinate and manage office catering orders and weekly lunches (Tuesday–Wednesday).

  • Maintain the meeting calendar and handle logistics for in-office meetings.

  • Manage kitchen inventory: order and stock beverages, snacks, utensils, and supplies; handle dishwasher duties.

  • Order and restock office supplies in the supply closet.

  • Support HR onboarding: send welcome emails, set up systems, and distribute company swag.

  • Provide conference room support: room setup, AV coordination with IT, and tidiness (whiteboards, chairs, catering cleanup).

  • Help locate and direct guests within the office.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office, administrative, or front desk role preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Familiarity with basic AV equipment and troubleshooting.

  • Professional, adaptable, and able to work well with staff and visitors.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Problem-solving mindset for handling unexpected issues.
