Express is urgently looking for a Bi-lingual Intake Coordinator

 

 

 

This position as a Bilingual Intake Coordinator requires a dynamic and empathetic professional, ideally with experience in social services or the nonprofit sector. As a primary point of contact, you'll be integral to the team, providing compassionate and responsive support to clients, often in stressful or crisis situations. Key responsibilities include client intake, managing client appointments, and coordinating with Advocates to deliver essential resources.

Key Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish – essential for communication with diverse clients.
• Crisis Management – ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Interpersonal Skills – empathy, strong verbal and written communication, and excellent customer service skills.
• Self-Motivation & Independence – able to prioritize tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Technology Proficiency – comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and multi-line phone systems.
• Reliable Transportation – a valid driver's license, car, and insurance are required for outreach and external coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Client Support & Coordination – welcome and assist clients and visitors, ensuring they receive timely attention.
• Resource Management – maintain organized resources and supplies for clients, assist in resource referrals, and communicate needs to staff.
• Advocacy Support – help manage hotline calls, coordinate services, and support training efforts for new staff.
• Environment Maintenance – ensure a warm, welcoming, and safe environment in the lobby and office areas.
• Record-Keeping & Confidentiality – maintain up-to-date records on client interactions and ensure confidentiality in all activities.
• Team Collaboration – engage with peers, supervisors, and management to share information and support joint initiatives.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary (DOE) and a benefits package. Flexibility in schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.
