Job Title: HR Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will assist with a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR documentation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:

    • Assist with job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
    • Support the interview process and assist with candidate screenings and background checks.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all job applicants.
  • Onboarding and Employee Records:

    • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure proper completion of paperwork.
    • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant with company policies and regulations.
    • Assist with the preparation of new hire materials, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Employee Benefits and Administration:

    • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
    • Help answer employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
    • Assist with open enrollment and benefit changes.
  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
    • Assist in preparing and maintaining HR reports and tracking key HR metrics.
    • Support audits related to HR functions.
  • Employee Relations and Support:

    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and HR programs.
    • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and support company-wide events and activities.
    • Assist with resolving basic employee relations issues and escalate as necessary.
  • General HR Administration:

    • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining HR-related files.
    • Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and communicated to employees.
    • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
