Assembly Worker – Now Hiring!

Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm

 

A manufacturing company in Rome City, IN is seeking Assembly Workers to join their team. This is a first-shift opportunity with a stable schedule and potential for growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble wire harnesses, cables, and light mechanical products according to instructions
• Inspect and test finished products for quality assurance
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Follow company safety and quality procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Physical Requirements:

• Mostly a sitting position with occasional standing and movement
• Repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when necessary

Equipment Used:

• Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters)
• Power tools (drills, soldering irons)
• Wire crimping and stripping machines
• Measuring tools (calipers, tape measures)

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• No prior experience required, but previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus
