Cutter for a Printing Company in South Phoenix
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
$16+/hr DOE
Position Overview The Cutter is responsible for accurately trimming, cutting, and finishing printed materials to specified dimensions. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to use measuring tools such as a tape measure to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Operate cutting equipment to trim printed sheets, booklets, and other materials.
Use a tape measure and other tools to verify dimensions and maintain accuracy.
Review job tickets and specifications to ensure correct sizes and layouts.
Maintain cutting machines, keeping blades sharp and equipment clean.
Organize and stack finished products for packaging or further processing.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
Experience in a printing or manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret measurements with a tape measure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with cutting machinery.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
