Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Summary:
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, sanitation, maintenance, and safety compliance. This role involves handling materials efficiently using forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory records in the Packing System (PS). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in general warehouse procedures and equipment operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, ship, and receive materials and products.

• Transport materials within the facility safely and efficiently.

• Optimize and secure loads to ensure safe handling and delivery.

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, as well as other material handling equipment.

• Inspect vehicles and equipment; report maintenance or repair needs to management.

• Utilize scanning equipment and maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.

• Pick, wrap, and stage orders for outbound shipment.

• Ensure shipment documentation is accurate and complete.

• Report any delayed or damaged outbound shipments.

• Identify and report workplace safety hazards; promote adherence to safety standards.

• Communicate safety rules to incoming drivers and visitors.

• Assist with general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the warehouse area.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Picking accuracy rate below target error percentage.

• Achievement of daily and weekly packing goals.

• Minimal overdue “Quick Orders” (1+ week past due).

• Low rate of unplanned absences.

• Compliance with PTO submission and attendance guidelines.
