CDL-A Driver (Moffett Experience Required)
Pay: $24–$25/hr
Schedule: 40 hours per week (Overtime rarely required)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver with proven Moffett (Piggyback forklift) operating experience. This role is responsible for safely transporting building materials to customer sites, ensuring accurate delivery, and maintaining a high level of professionalism on every route. This is a full-time position offering steady hours and a consistent schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operated a CDL-A truck to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites.

• Safely operated a Moffett/Piggyback forklift to load and unload materials.

• Performed pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

• Secured loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or hazards during transport.

• Provided excellent customer service while interacting with contractors, builders, and site personnel.

• Maintained accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports.

• Communicated with dispatch regarding delivery status, route issues, or delays.

• Followed all safety protocols and complied with site-specific delivery requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience operating a Moffett or similar piggyback forklift (required).

• Ability to lift, move, and handle building materials as needed.

• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to navigate delivery routes, construction sites, and tight spaces safely.

Schedule & Compensation:

• $24–$25 per hour based on experience.

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

• Overtime available only in rare circumstances.
