Summary

The General Warehouse Associate contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional Client service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by performing the following tasks
• Will verify all incoming product on each trailer delivery by using a checklist of items to check the quantity, the numbers, delivery details, paperwork and ensuring accurate inventory counts using the Langham WMS; Will then move the product with the forklift to be staged to be put away.
• identifying and tracking errors relating to movement of inventory in the facility;
• conducting physical cycle counts of stored goods;
• moving material out of the system to the designation location;
• ensuring designated items and quantity of items are correctly picked, packed, and shipped according to client specifications;
• eliminating errors and claims;
• ensuring that all shipments from the client coming into the warehouse are unloaded without damage; accurately checked, recorded, entered into the database; and put away into the correct location;
• ensuring that all outbound shipments leave the warehouse correctly without damage or improper packaging;

General Warehouse Associates perform a variety of duties at various locations within the warehouse, and duties may include hand picking and packing, operating various types of Material Handling equipment such as Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Fork Lifts, Turret Trucks, sealing and/or banding shipments, receiving, quality control, performing cycle counts, housekeeping, etc.

Additionally, General Warehouse Associates may be assigned to assist with other departments in the warehouse from time to time as needs change.

General Warehouse Associates work a variety of shifts and may be asked to work overtime as Client needs fluctuate.
