Job Description – Auto Body Technician
Schedule: 4/10s (Three-day weekends!)
Pay: Competitive, DOE

Job Summary:
Our local auto body shop is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our hardworking team. We’re known for quality craftsmanship, a supportive work environment, and a great schedule—four 10-hour shifts with three-day weekends. The ideal candidate is skilled, reliable, and takes pride in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality collision repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models

• Assess damage and determine appropriate repair procedures, including frame straightening and structural work

• Remove, repair, and replace damaged components (bumpers, fenders, doors, panels, etc.)

• Complete welding, grinding, sanding, and bodywork as needed

• Prepare vehicles for paint (priming, masking, surface prep)

• Refinish vehicles using spray guns and professional painting equipment

• Conduct final inspections to ensure safety, accuracy, and quality standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Stay current with industry repair methods and technology

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician (experience required)

• Strong knowledge of auto body repair procedures, tools, and equipment

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic technology

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and collaborate with the team

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Relevant certifications are a plus but not required
