Senior Mechanical Engineer (Sr. ME)

Location: McMinnville, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40+ hours per week
Pay Range: $85,000–$115,000 DOE

Main Purpose:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading the development of new products from concept through engineering release. This role performs engineering analysis, produces detailed engineering drawings, oversees field testing of new products, and serves as a liaison between the project leader and customers to ensure excellent customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce engineering documentation, including design packages, component and assembly drawings, installation instructions, service bulletins, and test specifications.
Perform engineering analysis and simulations on components and completed designs.
Research and evaluate new or existing technologies for product application.
Analyze field failures and resolve technical issues.
Ensure compliance requirements are met for project activities and team members.
Maintain knowledge of build manuals, parts books, and drawings to troubleshoot technical issues.
Follow all documented procedures and quality standards.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and vendors on current and future projects.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies.
Adhere to AS9100 quality standards and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience, & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
Experience with engineering drawings, work instructions, and documentation control.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, and other Microsoft applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and vendors.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
