Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team in Shreveport. This role includes installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

• Run conduit, pull wire, and install panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and work orders

• Test electrical systems using meters, testers, and diagnostic tools

• Ensure all work meets local, state, and NEC electrical codes

• Maintain clean work areas and follow all jobsite safety guidelines

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an electrician required

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams

• Skilled in conduit bending, wiring, and electrical troubleshooting

• Strong knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and safety procedures

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Valid driver's license preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
