Customer Service Representative — Metal Manufacturing (Fort Myers)

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a successful, family-owned metal manufacturer in the Fort Myers area to find a well-rounded, friendly, and proactive Customer Service Representative. This role requires someone who can deliver outstanding customer service, maintain strong relationships, and thrive in a relaxed but productive family-style environment.

• Customer service experience (in-person and phone) with a positive, friendly, and relationship-based approach

• Productive and efficient—able to stay on-task in a relaxed, family-oriented environment

• Punctual with strong attendance and reliability

• Strong memory to learn a large product catalog and understand customer needs

• Confident and comfortable on the phone, even when answers require follow-up

• Strong computer skills & solid WPM—must stay on top of 40–100 emails per day

• Outgoing, friendly personality that fits well with a close-knit team

Job Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls professionally

• Perform data entry within the company’s software system

• Process and track customer orders

• Provide light sales support, including upselling when appropriate

• Follow up on customer inquiries and order statuses

Requirements

• Knowledge of roofing and fasteners is helpful but not required

• Basic math skills

• Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities

• Excellent computer proficiency

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
