Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions within our organization. Duties

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
• Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review
• Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Support payroll processing, including data entry and verification of employee hours and deductions
• Assist with budgeting, account analysis, and financial forecasting activities
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and others to record transactions accurately
• Maintain detailed bookkeeping records and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency

Experience

• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles within a corporate or financial services environment
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and payroll processes
• Experience with auditing procedures and financial analysis is preferred
• Knowledge of budgeting techniques and account analysis methods is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
