Production Engineer

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Coon Rapids manufacturer of precision components for liquid-cooling systems in data centers and fiber optic installations to find a detail-oriented Production Engineer! This role values attention to detail, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

The Role

We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help build and maintain our quality control system, ensure ISO compliance, and create clear work instructions that guide our production staff. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced team members, learn client-specific standards, and use ERP software (MS Dynamics NAV 2013) to support production processes.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement quality control systems to meet ISO standards
• Create, edit, and update work instructions for production processes
• Collaborate with long-tenured staff to document step-by-step procedures
• Adapt to client-specific requirements for different applications
• Use ERP software (MS Dynamics NAV 2013) for documentation and tracking
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in production, engineering, quality control, or manufacturing
• Familiarity with ISO compliance and document control systems
• Strong technical writing skills for clear work instructions
• Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics NAV preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and reaching for parts
• Some seated computer and inspection work
