Job Title: Package Handler Location: Romeoville, IL Shift: Variable shifts, days, and hours (flexible scheduling) Pay Rate: $20.90/hour

Summary We are seeking Package Handlers to join our team in Romeoville. This role is responsible for offloading and sorting incoming packages for distribution, as well as preparing outgoing freight for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures

• Offload inbound freight for distribution

• Sort packages according to destination by sort code

• Verify zip codes and destination codes to prevent missorted packages

• Inspect outgoing packages for damage

• Load sorted freight onto outbound trucks

• Perform other tasks or assignments as needed by the organization

• Ability to read and understand English and follow written or oral instructions

• Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment

• Ability to work at a consistent pace performing highly physical work

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions

• Moderate noise level

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms

• Frequent verbal communication and physical activity including stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, or crouching

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items averaging 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs

• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination

• Must adhere to OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and security guidelines

• No drug test required

• Can start ASAP pending background check
