Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a Property Manager with Accounting experience for a Commercial Property Management company located in Newport Beach.

Service Line: Direct Hire

Pay: $80-$95k Salary

Responsibility:

• Manage day-to-day operations in an open office environment.
• Handle tenant inquiries and after-hour calls, as well as vendor calls/emergencies
• Prepare scopes of work for RFPs and coordinate recurring and non-recurring vendor services.
• Arrange repairs, maintenance, and major projects across multiple properties in OC and IE.
• Direct contractors and oversee tenant improvements.
• Prepare monthly tenant billing statements, collect rent, maintain rent rolls, and lease files.
• Review and code invoices, ensuring alignment with budgets and proposals.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and monitor monthly variances.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

• Must have 3 - 5 yrs of RECENT Commercial Property Management experience (HOA experience does not count)
• Bookkeeping experience (3+ years) or educational equivalent is a Must
• Commercial Experience a Must
• Experience in posting rent charges and tenant cash receipts into the accounting system
• Proficiency in using property management and accounting software, Sage or similar
• Proficient in creating journal entries and accrual accounting methods - is a Must
• Competent w/ double-entry accounting
