Production Planner - 2 month Contract

Salary: $30/hour

We have an immediate need for contract Production Planners for a 2 month project with a manufacturing client in the Madison area.

 

This role will support the Supply Chain team with project work through the end of January.  There is potential for longer term work and hire, based on performance and business need upon completion of project.

 

Job Duties: Key tasks will be in the SAP business system and include some/all of the following:

     *   Releasing purchase orders

     *   Updating purchase orders

     *   Reviewing reports and maintaining data records between the SAP and XA business systems

     *   Updating master data fields like safety stock and lead times

     *   Follow up with warehouses on inbound receipt status

Qualifications:

*   Strong computer skills and previous experience in SAP or similar ERP systems

  *   Comfortable with data and reporting

  *   Understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and inventory management

  *   Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent work experience

Schedule: Full-time in office role, 8 hour days between 7am-5pm Mon - Fri

Pay: $30/hour
