We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Burbank team.

 

Summary: The Customer Service Representative is a key contributor to both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role manages front-desk interactions, processes estimates and sales orders with accuracy, and provides informed technical guidance on waterproofing products and industry standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of waterproofing systems, standards, and product offerings.
  • Review and interpret safety data sheets to provide accurate technical information.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Handle a high volume of customer communications, including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Provide technical support and product guidance based on manufacturer recommendations and technical data.
  • Educate customers about product promotions, new offerings, and industry trends.
  • Address customer complaints professionally, identify solutions, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate order status updates and material availability to customers and sales team members.
  • Recommend complementary tools, accessories, and system components to drive product upselling.
  • Promote surplus, expired, or soon-to-expire inventory to support sales goals and efficient stock management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience preferred; experience in construction, building materials, or technical product support is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, including safety data sheets and product specifications.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with basic computer applications and order-processing systems.
