About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Rework Technician with hands-on experience in SMT and through-hole soldering and repair. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to work under a microscope on precision electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand-solder and rework SMT and through-hole components, including fine-pitch parts, using proper tools and equipment.

• Desolder faulty components and repair damaged pads, traces, and plating on PCBs.

• Visually inspect solder joints and assemblies under a microscope (10x or higher) to ensure compliance with IPC and customer quality standards.

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.

• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve soldering issues and ensure compliance with all standards.

• Assemble, install, and remove microelectronic devices, intricate wiring, and small parts using hand tools.

• Perform daily maintenance and calibration on soldering irons, hot air stations, tweezers, and related equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Proven experience in SMT and through-hole hand soldering and rework.

• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with very small components.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Strong attention to detail, quality-driven, and dependable.
