Position Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a dynamic Medical Receptionist for a concierge physician in Bonita Springs. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing front desk operations in a professional healthcare environment. This role is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring smooth office flow and communication between patients and medical staff.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients.

• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Answer and direct phone calls; take detailed messages as needed.

• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or outstanding balances.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Update and maintain accurate patient records and demographics.

• Prepare and process patient paperwork and consent forms.

• Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and physicians.

• Assist with scanning, faxing, filing, and other administrative duties as needed.

• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or medical office training preferred.

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
