Position: Financial Controller 

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting/Econ; CPA/CA required; MBA an asset.

• 8–15 years progressive FP&A, commercial, and operations finance experience in manufacturing.

• Proven P&L ownership and partnership with senior operations leadership.

• Strong modeling, scenario analysis, standard costing, and ERP/reporting-tool expertise (IFS/OneStream, Power BI).

• Excellent executive communication; strong commercial and operational acumen; people leader with integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnering: Translate strategy into financial outcomes; lead performance reviews; guide cross-functional leaders on growth, margin, and cash levers.

• FP&A: Own the annual plan and multi-year strategy; run scenarios; manage rolling forecasts; build driver-based models, scorecards, and self-serve analytics.

• Commercial Finance: Partner with Sales/GM on pricing, bids, rebates, and deal approvals; lead product/customer P&Ls and portfolio profitability.

• Operations & Costing: Deliver plant-level analytics (OEE, yield, productivity); oversee costing, BOM/routing governance, variance analysis, and cost-reduction initiatives; lead capex business cases and post-reviews.

• Governance & Reporting: Ensure accurate close and reporting; support audits; uphold finance policies, controls, and balance-sheet integrity.

• Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing FP&A/commercial finance team.

• Revenue, margin, EBITDA, ROCE delivery

• ERP Systems

• Forecast accuracy and insight quality

• Pricing/mix realization and deal economics

• Cost and variance reduction; OEE/scrap improvements

• Working-capital/cash conversion
