Mechanic Maintenance Technician Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient production of quality products while minimizing costs and environmental impact. Skill level determines role responsibilities.

 

Mechanic Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment (e.g., gearboxes, pumps, rotary systems).
• Perform non-code welding and basic electrical work (up to 480V).
• Troubleshoot, fabricate, install, and calibrate equipment and controls.
• Collaborate with technicians and support cross-functional tasks.
• Manage parts inventory and support site safety and planning.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a respectful team environment.

Mechanic Maintenance Technician Requirements

• High school diploma; strong math and communication skills.
• 5+ years of plant maintenance experience or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental standards, and maintenance best practices.
• Understanding of process control and plant operations.

Pays $20/hr+, depending on experience.
