About the Role
Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician with strong skills in machine maintenance, robotic systems, and electrical troubleshooting. This role supports the Powertrain Team by ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced manufacturing and automation equipment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repair on manufacturing machinery, automation systems, and robotic equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including control panels, wiring, sensors, motors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Support PLC troubleshooting, program edits, and system optimization as needed.
• Maintain and repair robotic systems, including adjustments, calibration, and component replacement.
• Work with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to improve machine performance and reduce downtime.
• Assist with equipment setup, alignment, and configuration to meet production and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures to support continuous production.
• Follow all company safety protocols, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, machine repair, or industrial equipment servicing.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including sensors, wiring, motors, and control systems.

• Experience with robotic maintenance (FANUC, ABB, or similar preferred).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipment.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; programming experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
