Job Title: Housekeeper (Temporary - 2 to 4 Months)

Schedule: 2 Shifts:

#1- 6am-2:30pm Sunday-Thursday

#2- 6am-2:30pm Thursday-Monday

Pay Range: $23-$26 per hour

Description/Requirements: We are seeking 2 temporary housekeepers to provide a neat and welcoming environment at their San Rafael, CA location. As a Housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for completing periodic cleaning tasks, following a time schedule that is sensitive to their clientele. You may also be asked to assist with preparing and serving meals.

 

What You'll Do: 

• Maintain all common areas of facility. Tasks may include mopping or dust mopping; vacuuming; dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and disinfecting sink areas and bathrooms daily; scrubbing, buffing and waxing floors.
• Maintain necessary supplies in all rooms, bathrooms, instructors’ rooms, and beverage stations.
• Maintain all linens.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently, thoroughly and in a manner that respects our clientele's privacy and is sensitive to their schedule.
• Assist in meal service and meal preparation as needed.
• Adhere to our organization's safety policies and procedures and promptly report all incidents and accidents.
• Undertake other cleaning or dormitory duties as assigned, including certain driving responsibilities if needed.

The qualifications you’ll need:

• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping; some food preparation experience is preferred
• Current food handlers’ certificate preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated knowledge of food service standards
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong English language communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stay on your feet for extended periods
• Pre-employment Drug test and Background Check required
