Our client, a Leading Pest Control Company in Westfield, IN is looking for a Production and Shipping Associate to join their team.

 

Position: Production and Shipping Associate

 

Location: Westfield, IN

 

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

 

Pay: $20.00 an hour

About the Role:

As a Production and Shipping Associate, you’ll play a vital role in manufacturing and assembling high-quality pest control products. You’ll ensure products meet strict safety and quality standards, assist with shipping and warehouse tasks, and collaborate across departments to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture products safely and to quality standards using manual and machine processes.
• Operate and troubleshoot packaging and lure machines.
• Perform daily maintenance and quality assurance checks.
• Prepare, organize, and ship customer orders with attention to minimizing breakage.
• Support warehouse organization and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across departments.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and lift boxes (occasionally exceeding 50 lbs).
• Comfortable navigating stairs multiple times daily.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Proficiency in reading work orders and using ERP systems like NetSuite.
• Adaptable and able to switch between varied tasks throughout the day.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in production or manufacturing.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting production machinery.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle small objects.
• Frequently required to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift/move items up to or above 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk up and down 17 stairs multiple times daily.
• Visual capabilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
