Paint/ Production Technician
Located in Riverside, CA
Salary: $17.50
Job Summary: A local fireman manufacturing company is looking for passionate people to join their team who believe in continuous improvement and who want to be true contributors to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare helmets for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Operate manual spray equipment to apply paint.
- While working with machinery adjust spray pattern for optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products for defects and consistency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Accurately complete all necessary production and quality control documentation.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s core values and help execute growth plans.
- Prepare work to be accomplished by reading procedures, parts lists, work orders, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using model build specifications and reading work orders.
- Assemble helmets and components by examining for conformity, connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, or equivalent work experience or equivalent work training.
- Experience in painting, materials preparation, assembly, and packaging.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail and an understanding of what makes a good, quality product.
- Have the ability to use fine motor skills to piece unique materials together.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to follow the Lean concepts of manufacturing.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
