Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Bag Feeder position in Sparta, TN.

The Bag Feeder is responsible for filling, weighing, sealing, and labeling feed and mineral products, as well as assisting customers and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This role involves consistent physical labor and attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality feed packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and package feed, grain, and mineral mixes into bags according to customer orders and store standards.

• Weigh and verify accuracy of bagged products before sealing and labeling.

• Stock, stack, rotate, and organize feed inventory (bagged and bulk).

• Assist customers with feed selection, placing orders, and loading products into vehicles.

• Maintain cleanliness around feed bins, bagging equipment, and storage areas.

• Monitor feed quality to prevent contamination, moisture issues, or spoilage.

• Unload and store feed deliveries as needed.

• Follow safety protocols when handling equipment and heavy materials.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in a warehouse/feed environment (dust, grain, outdoor temps).

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Customer-service mindset; friendly and helpful with customers.

• Experience in a feed store, farm, or agricultural setting is a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of livestock feed types (cattle, poultry, horse, deer minerals, etc.).

• Ability to operate bagging equipment, pallet jacks, or loaders (training may be provided).

• Good organizational and time-management skills
