Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Logistic Support – Expeditor to join the Supply Chain Department of a Hastings, NE company. This company serves industries including manufacturing and agriculture, and this part‑time role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, customer service focus, and a background in logistics, dispatching, or forklift operations.

As a Logistic Support - Expeditor you will play a critical role in ensuring timely supplier communication, purchase order management, and KPI reporting. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a permanent staff role.

Responsibilities

• Run daily reports and issue open PO reports to suppliers
• Communicate directly with U.S. and international suppliers for expediting and status updates
• Issue RFQs to support Buyers as needed
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
• Purchase C-Class and MRO items to support Buyers
• Ensure compliance with company safety, integrity, and ethics policies
• Follow all Supply Chain procedures and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
• 3–5 years of related experience in purchasing or logistics role preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Basic data analysis skills required
• Ability to thrive in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Demonstrated urgency and responsiveness to business needs
