Inventory Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Inventory Specialist position for a Greenville, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Track and maintain inventory of steel, welding supplies, hardware, and other fabrication materials
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify quantities and quality against purchase orders
• Organize and label materials in designated storage areas for easy access and accurate tracking
• Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to forecast material needs based on upcoming projects
• Maintain accurate records in inventory management software and prepare reports for management
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred)

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Proficiency with inventory management systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse/fabrication shop environment
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Forklift experience (certification preferred)
