Wood Finisher/Sprayer Job Summary:  Grand Rapids wood furniture manufacturer is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented teammate who enjoys problem-solving and working with their hands. If you have an eye for color and take pride in quality work, this is the job for you.

Wood Finisher/Sprayer Requirements:

• Apply clearcoats, stains, and paints to wood products using spray equipment, ensuring consistent finish quality
• Work with both water-based and solvent-based finishing systems, following proper safety and handling procedures
• Prepare and condition surfaces prior to finishing, including sanding, sealing, and color matching as required
• Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure finish meets company and customer quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including daily cleanup of spray booth, tools, and surrounding area.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance
• An eye for color and the ability to identify the right finishes for the product 

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
• $18.00-20.00/HR depending on experience

 Final Assembler Qualifications:

• Mechanical ability
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• 3+ years’ experience finishing fine wood furniture
• Experience finish sanding wood furniture for stain
