We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to act as a key liaison between customers and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers promptly by providing accurate information and resolving inquiries in a timely manner.

• Review, read, interpret, and manage architectural plans, specifications, and hardware schedules.

• Review, price, and route customer correspondence and orders based on standard protocols.

• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure quick and effective resolutions.

• Maintain strong product knowledge to support contractor and customer interactions.

• Work efficiently within a highly matrixed organization.

• Provide exceptional verbal and written communication at all times.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures and workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience in a specialized technical industry (preferably hollow metal door openings).

• Direct experience with customers and contractors strongly desired.

• Ability to understand building codes and labeling requirements.

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a technical field, or equivalent experience preferred.

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, MRP, and ERP systems.

• Experience with AutoCAD, TrackPoint, OrderPro, or similar software preferred.

• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to work positively and effectively in a team environment.
