Salary: $22/hr.
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to act as a key liaison between customers and manufacturing teams.
Assist customers promptly by providing accurate information and resolving inquiries in a timely manner.
Review, read, interpret, and manage architectural plans, specifications, and hardware schedules.
Review, price, and route customer correspondence and orders based on standard protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure quick and effective resolutions.
Maintain strong product knowledge to support contractor and customer interactions.
Work efficiently within a highly matrixed organization.
Provide exceptional verbal and written communication at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures and workflows.
Minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience in a specialized technical industry (preferably hollow metal door openings).
Direct experience with customers and contractors strongly desired.
Ability to understand building codes and labeling requirements.
High School Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a technical field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, MRP, and ERP systems.
Experience with AutoCAD, TrackPoint, OrderPro, or similar software preferred.
Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work positively and effectively in a team environment.
