Role Overview

As a full-time Estimator Trainee, you’ll learn the fundamentals of construction estimating while supporting our senior estimators. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about building a career in the construction industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for door construction projects
• Input and organize data using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather project details
• Review drawings, specifications, and basic measurements to support accurate estimates
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Support the estimating team with administrative and project-related tasks

 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong customer/client service skills
• Solid understanding of basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• No prior estimating experience required – training will be provided
