Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Logistics Clerk position for a Tyler-area company!
We are a full-service staffing firm that partners with companies across East Texas to fill full-time, part-time, and temporary openings. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Answer and filter incoming calls related to shipping inquiries.

• Print and organize shipping labels and documentation for outgoing loads.

• Deliver shipping paperwork to warehouse locations as needed.

• Create and send Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASNs) for shipped orders.

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipping records.

• Enter phytosanitary certificates and ensure compliance.

• Compile complete shipping packets (load sheets, BOLs, pink slips, certificates, etc.).

• Assist with routing loads to ensure efficient and cost-effective scheduling.

• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and dispatch regarding routes and delivery times.

• Track shipments and proactively address delays or routing issues.

• Coordinate with shipping and production teams to keep schedules aligned.

• Support the shipping department with additional tasks as assigned.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative roles (preferred but not required).

Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Pay Range: $18+ DOE (up to $21)

• Benefits: Eligible for benefits upon permanent hire
