Salary: Up to $25/hr. DOE

Express Employment is seeking a certified pharmacy technician for a compounding pharmacy.  Job duties include:

• Working side by side with pharmacists to prepare, dispense, and distribute medications with accuracy and care
• Handling medication intake from start to finish, including prescription verification and data entry
• Speaking with patients, answering questions, and helping them understand their medications
• Keeping the inventory organized, up to date, and compliant with storage and safety requirements
• Using proper aseptic techniques when assisting with sterile compounding to protect patients and ensure high-quality products
• Taking part in audits, QA checks, and improvement projects that keep the pharmacy running at its best

Requirements:

• CPhT certification
• Experience as a pharmacy technician
• Compounding experience is a big plus, especially with sterile or specialty products
• Understanding of medical terminology and how medications are prepared and administered
• Strong communication and patient-service skills
• Comfort using pharmacy software for intake, inventory, and documentation
• Focus and accuracy, even when things get busy.
• Commitment to patient safety and ability to follow established standards

Other details:

• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm
• Pay rate is up to $25/hr. DOE
• Direct hire opportunity
