Floor Hand

Salary: $14/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Floor Hand position for a Winnsboro, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Shovel out belt ends and assist with material handling.
• Operate rolling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Change and empty material totes as directed.
• Perform general plant clean-up to maintain a safe and orderly workspace.
• Grease and oil equipment according to operator instructions.
• Perform or assist with routine maintenance tasks.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain a strong, consistent work ethic throughout the shift.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

• Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, repetitive work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and other physical movements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
