About the Role:
Express Pros is hiring Kitchen Helpers for a local Mexican restaurant in several of their locations! Kitchen Helpers assist with food preparation, cooking meat, packaging, verifying temperatures, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect raw meat from approved suppliers; verify temperature, quality, and documentation.

• Thaw meat under refrigeration and prepare for processing.

• Trim, cut, and cook meat to required internal temperatures.

• Shred cooked meat and mix with prepared sauces or seasonings.

• Prepare salsas, cook tomatoes and jalapenos and help stock the fridges.

• Cool and store meat mixture safely for assembly.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
